: I miss you Gordon Ramsey ! :

While vacationing at my sister Joy's house in Sydney, I had the chance to watch quite a lot of good reality shows that are not shown back here in Pinas. Some of them ate Chopping Block, Hell's Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares and F Word, etc. But my most favorite is that of Gordon Ramsey's show Kitchen Nightmares, where critics food, in house chef and how the owner manages their business.

Gordon is a world class British chef who runs fine dining restaurants in the UK and US and is well known esp. to those that love cooking and aspiring chefs. He maybe too rough and quite intimidating by the way he speaks and acts, (he swears a lot mind you !!) but he is good at what he is doing and teaching. He is funny at times too.

I miss watching him and I wish his shows will be aired here also in the Phils. bec. I'll be the 1st one to tune in and watch it.! Have you watched any of his shows?

2 Pinays made it to the top 10

I am religiously watching So You Think You Can Dance Show here in Australia and I am glad to know that 2 Pinays (1 half) made it to the top 10.

Rhiannon Villareal  (her father is Pinoy)
I know that she can make it on the top 10 as she can gives her best every week

Demi Sorono loves break dancing and hip hop but she can show how to dance really well with other types of dance. She is pretty good and of course I want her to win hehe.

Poor Zara evicted at Kuya's House

It was a very emotional 2nd eviction night at Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition 2 last night. The 4 nominated housemates (Byron, Donie, Zara and Maegan) waited nervously while Toni Gonzaga wait them in suspense in announcing the 2nd evictee. Poor Zara end up being evicted, she has the lowest viewers votes that led to her eviction.

Meanwhile, Mcoy (singer of Orange and Lemons) is celebrates his b-day last night. Big brother gave him a 100 second surprise, while being blindfolded his 2 daughters was there to greet him happy b-day while Mcoy keeps on hugging them. He also had the chance to sing tog. w/ his wife that made him cry so much.

Love this new batch. worth watching. NOTE: Mariel (one of the host) is still inside the house as a celebrity house mate. Do you watch PBB or Big Brother show in your own country?

Caught in the act by a hidden camera

Have you watched “Imbestigador”, not yesterday but the other Saturday's episode when their hidden camera caught high school students smoking marijuana inside their comfort room? Isn’t’ this alarming? Teens taking drugs inside the school campus? I think the school principal and other teachers should be aware of this and be more vigilant in looking after the students who will try to do such things. It is sad for both parents and the students and I reckon if the parents already know their child’s situation they should enter them in a drug rehab center that will help them. Taking the situation for granted will now solve their child’s addiction. I’m very happy that none of my relatives are into this kind of stuff.

The survivor instinct in me

Hmmm.. what would you do if you get fired from your job, you have no money, you are in a new city, you don’t know someone.. how would you survive?? Very interesting question huh. That question also goes to Michael Westen, a CIA Operative on the new show, USA Network's Burn Notice. The show will start on June 28th and I know this is a smash hit in the US.

Anyway, if I will be in his shoes, how would I survive? This will be really tough one since no one can live comfortably without any resources on hand but once the situation arises I know my survivor instinct would come out. Probably I will assess the area first, I will try to watch how people react and go on with their lives. Since I have no money to buy food, hmm I guess I will have to use my charm in asking people for food or money. I will make friends and will ask them to spare a little money for me; I know someone has a heart of gold. I will walk around the city, who knows I might stumble into a treasure hidden somewhere? Haha That would be awesome. Or maybe I can pick up some empty bottles and sell it on a junkshop in exchange for money. Sleeping??? I can maybe go to a park or something and just find somewhere I can sit or take a nap. I know i will find a way to survive.
