: Sunday Malling :

Oh well I never thought that I will be out yesterday bec. I was so busy with my online works. I heard that my nephew and niece where going to a nearby mall (SM) so I hurriedly get my butt of my pc chair, closed the pc and told them that I am going with them. They are actually happy that I will go with them bec. they know I will pay for their fare. I also want to go with them bec. I am craving for a cake since last week.

Anyway, there is a sale at SM going on when we got there, I did not intend to buy anything bec. I don't need any so we just look around. I just tried some shoes bec.there are many nice styles available, I am so happy that I have controlled myself in buying. My nephew and niece went to a bookstore to buy school supplies while I tried to stroll around and just window shop. Argghh there are nice watches that I really love... the good thing is that I don't have enough money to buy one... Hahhhaha great saving for me. A good tip to save : Don't bring enough money so that you will not impluse buying.. hehe

: Teens are picky and so do I :

My niece went shopping with me last weekend and she was also scheduled to buy herself shoes since opening of classes will be soon already. She just came home from Riyadh and she’ll be studying college here now. We went to the shoe section at Robinsons and there she saw lots of shoes to buy. There are lots of nice styles to choose from but he was kinda pick and wanted to buy so many different styles like flat/ballet shoes, skate shoes, wedge shoes and even snickers. I told her just to pick what she wants and we’ll just come back next time. She end up buying one cute flat shoes and to think it was also on sale, while me end up buying nothing.. bleh..

My niece and I went to Galleria last weekend and we passed by a small stall that caught our attention. There are few people eating and they seem to be enjoying what they have. We got curious about what the stall offers so we had a look.

It was no ordinary crepe bec. you can have different stuff inside of it. You can choose from combination of mango, vanilla ice cream, strawberry, nutella with banana and more. Price range from Php 80-Php 120 +. This is a delicious snack and I can recommend, have you tried one?

Here is what we got ripe mangoes with mango sauce, vanilla ice cream and it was so yummy. You can also upgrade if you want more stuff inside.

: Women love shopping :

When it comes to shopping, women are always have the authority in this field and I guess men would agree on this one. Women have the eye for bargains and would really go from one shop or mall to find the lowest prices and deals while men tend to buy from the 1st store they went into even if it is priced higher than other store. Men just don’t have the patience walking, sorting out and scrutinizing a product. One more asset of women is the ability to haggle for the price.

Shopping at the malls or even shopping online makes no difference to us, we both love them. Online shopping has even a greater advantage as we can shop in the comforts of our homes or office. There are site that we can always shop and get value for our money like shopping for home improvement tools, electronic gadgets and more.

I just happened to browse around shopwiki.com this afternoon and I of course immediately looked into their women’s clothing section and there were many products to choose from. Their jewelry and watch sections are also not to be missed. Not only was it easy to browse in their gallery, searching for a particular product that you are looking for was easy by using their product search and now I can’t stop browsing.

: I'm going shopping tomorrow :

My niece Kath accompanied me at home last night since my family are not back home yet from their vacation up North. They just called and sent us text messages to let us know where they are and they said they will be coming home on Tuesday. Wow, I guess they have enjoyed it so much there that they have extended their stay bec. they were suppose to be home on Sunday.

Anyway, I am planning to go to the mall tomorrow probably at Megamall this time since there is a Canon showroom there. I am itching to buy a new 50 mm f1.8 lens and a lens hood so hopefully they have a stock there. If not, I will just go to Hidalgo next time. I reckon it is a lot of fun to spend some for my new hobby (digital photography) once in a while since I deserve it. Those people who are also bored with their 9 to 5 jobs doing market research or other paper works must also have time to go shopping and splurge a bit. Life will not be fun if you don't enjoy what you earn. Am i right? Oh I can’t wait to shop hehehehe.

Spice it up

Lingerie is women’s bestfriend and part of everyday attire. One time my sister Joy and I went inside a lingerie shop went we went out shopping at MacArthur Square. They have lots of daring and sexy style to choose from and it was on sale when we went there. Their collection of thongs and lacy bras would definitely make any man hot lol and not to forget the see through bodystockings that they have. Hahaha for sure I will not be comfortable wearing something like that as I don’t have a great body to boast.

Sis Joy's mailbox are always full

Yes.... it is, not with letters all the time but with store’s leaflets like that of clothes, jewelry, grocery and even furniture catalog. Sis and I love to read them after our breakfast and whenever there is a sale like at Target, Big W and other stores, ahhh our feet are itching to head at the shops..Aussie loves shopping and so are we.. lol. Just this morning we went out shopping with friends and we grabbed some.

I got new Sunglasses

My old Guess sunglasses got broken when we went to Port McQuarie few weeks ago. I think i am the one who accidentally jumped on it while when i put it on the ground, not a good think to do i know. Well anyway, I went to Mc arthur Square mall the other week with friends to buy a new one. We have been looking around at different shops to get the right shape for my face. Of course I also wanted a branded ones so that it will last longer. There are many branded sunglasses in the stores like Prada, Guess, Panoptx, Dior, and more. But I got the Oakley one and it looks good on me. Here in Australia, you always need sunglasses when you go out as it becomes hot most of the times.

We went shopping again

Hello there guys.. I hope you are all doin fine. My sis and I went out on Thursday. We 1st went to her doctor’s clinic for her follow up ultrasound of her thyroid. It was a pretty quick and just few hours we were able to get the results.

Anyway, it was raining so hard that morning and I almost freeze, lol. We saw a shop that will close out soon so we bought some stuff there. We then went to Target and David Jones store to see what’s on sale. There were lots of clearance sale at Target esp. the summer clothes that they are disposing.

Since winter is coming in no time most of the displays are winter clothes now both for women and men's fashion. Just love what they have on display. Sis Joy got some for the kids and she bought me a nice pair of shoes (we had the same but of different color.

Ahhh… I just love shopping and tell me who doesn’t??

End of Summer sale!

My sis and I went on a massive sale last week at Campbelltown and of course we both enjoyed it. And since Fall and winter will be coming soon, the stores are getting rid of their of summer clothes to give way for the new winter trend.

So what my sis did was to get summer clothes for her kids one size bigger so they can use it next summer. Almost all the clothes are 50% off till 70%. Imagine clothes worth AU$ 30 before you can buy it at $3-5 when it is on clearance sale. Wow isn’t it? It’s like shopping online using one of those Kohls coupons but sometimes I prefer shopping at malls so I can pick and hold the products that I want.

I hope there are still more stores that will have clearance sale bec. for sure my sis and I will be going there.

Did some shopping today

This morning we went to Campbeltown and went to K-Mart as they are having a massive out of season sale. There are blouse and pants worth around $3 and up and my sis got me 3 blouses which is a great find and she got tons of shorts and shirts for the kids and for herself too. 

It will be winter in no time here (around June) so they are selling all their summer clothes at very low prices to get rid of their stocks. The kitchen wares, office supplies (i saw bic pens that are on sale too), paper scrapbooking kits, shoes, toys and more are on sale. This is much awaited by most of the shoppers around here as you can really get a good bargain.

Brrrrr cold

Hello peeps thanks for dropping by my blog and trying to know  how am i doing here at the Land Down Under.  I am doing great even though I am cold most of the times. The weather is gloomy since i arrived here on Sunday and it rained yesterday so it was cold. I know you some will laugh at me bec. I am already cold at around 23C (of course i am not used to cold weather that is why). Right now my feet are so cold ...!!!!!

My sis and I went shopping yesterday at Mac Arthur's Square shopping mall while Micah and her friend watched the movie "7 Dresses". The 2 kids (Bianca and Braiden) were at pre-school so we had lots of time shopping. My 1st purchase here since I arrived are 2 blouses (AUS$ 19.75 and AUS$14.50), I stopped converting it to pesos bec. I know it will cost a bit. It was fun strolling the mall (not as huge as Megamall though) and trying to see what's new. There are some great buys esp. the summer clothes, they are having it on sale since winter is coming. They have sales every time they change their season so my sis got some good buys. 

We had late lunch at around 2 pm and we just settle for some Thai noodle soup and fresh spring rolls. Later at night  we called home to check out my mom and our business and it was sad to hear not so good news.

Anyway, i only took some photos i will just share later, I will ask my sis 1st on how can I transfer their m pics on Micah's Mac Book. It's hard when you don't own the pc. I know, i know you already wanted to see how beautiful Australia is so pls. bear with me.

DIY guy

Renovating is a theme that seems to run in my family especially with my Aussie bro in law, he is always trying to fix things around the house, a real DIY guy. When it comes to electrical work he is always apprehensive. While trying to replace some light fixtures he encountered a little problem, he forgot to turn off the power, thankfully he had an emergency breaker which probably saved his life, next time I told him to call an electrician to do it for him.

Tiendesitas shopping

Micah and I went to Tiendesitas in Pasig (near Megamall) last Friday and at first Micah thought it was just boring there not until she saw the clothes and other stuff being sold there. I also bought some souvenirs that i will give to my sister. Too bad we didn;t have the chance to ride the Kalesa bec. it only starts at 3 pm and we can't wait that long. Sorry this is quite a quick post here. I'm off to Greenhills now.

Christian Bautista at Megamall

Micah and I went to Megamall on Friday and we got stuck in traffic because of the fire in Makati. Anyway, we bought some stuff and gosh we were oh so tired after that. Sukat dito sukat doon.

We are fortunate enough bec. Christian Butista is there to perform so we watched it for a while. He is cute and I love his voice. Micah was taller than me so she took some photos of him since there were lots of people in front of us.

I guess you have read on one of my posts that I already wanted to chuck my eyeglasses at the bin for it is not doing well for my eyesight. I also reckon that I need to change my eye doctor now bec I am not really satisfied. Cold weather

I woke up a bit late today and it was so gloomy, I thought it was too early but when I look at the clock it was already 7:30 am. It was raining since this morning and we have a very cool weather right now. I have not seen the news yet, so I don’t know if we have a typhoon or something which is not usual for us here in January.

The weather is perfect for a hot coffee and snuggling and in some parts of US they are having snow and other countries. Although I have not experienced winter with snow, I am pretty sure that is so brutally cold outside and many houses have heaters or fireplace in their houses. Busy shopping for pasalubongs

Hello guys, just one more week and I will be leaving with Micah and I am kinda excited but I feel I am in a hurry, yay! Anway, Micah and I have gone shopping yesterday; we went to Tiendesitas and Megamall. Actually we were looking for some pasalubongs for my sister and bro in law, I bought a nice native placemat for my sister, a small antique box where she can make it as a décor on her house and a mother of pearl bracelet. I hope she will like it, I wanted to buy the capiz lamp shade but I had second thoughts.

I had a tough time looking for a present to my bro inlaw, I wanted a personalized calendar of his kids like what my co-bebots are making but I got no photos and I have no more time to do it. Wish I got that idea long before, so right now I still have no present for him.

On Monday I will be goin to Divisoria and I will be buying more of my stuff (it’s never ending shopping), I am also thinking of buying some fancy native necklaces that I can also give as presents and a beach bag. And since I can’t buy one of those diamond pendants, I think I’d just buy myself some pretty bling blings and fancy ones that I can use everyday, there are many necklaces there. I hope I can finish all my shopping or else I will be burnt out.
