: Busy..... :

Ever since my mojo peeked a little yesterday, I was a bit inspired in trying to make a new digi layout again today. I am not quite so sure when will I finish it but at least my enthusiasm is back again. I have been downloading freebies and been to many galleries this afternoon and that keeps me inspired.

I am also blogging and completing tasks on my other blog so that keeps me busy as well. Work wise, I doubt if i will get lots of orders (invitations etc) but with the school opening next week I am expecting that desktop printings will be good.

it's good to be busy, keeps my brain away from some personal worries.

I have many things to accomplish this week and next week and I hope I can do all of them. here's my list:

1. Mail the pasalubong that I have for Zanne this week sana hehe (sorry Zanne)
2. Have my over 1,000 digi photos printed from my recent trip to Sydney
3. Get my EON card at Union Bank next week
4. Canvas prices of Canon 50mm f1.8 and EFS 28-105mm lenses
   
5. Upgrade my HP desktop memory from 2.5 MB to 3GB
6. Visit my dentist for my regular teeth cleaning
7. Go to the salon for a hair spa, my hair is already dry bec. we have been on the beach and sun all the time when I was in Australia

One Cold Valentine's Day!

Yay, it's Valentine's day today ! Ahh just an ordinary day for me since I have no special someone hehe. Anyway, it was cold today here in OZ Land and it's perfect time to just laze around and sip a cup of coffee.

A Pinay friend (Erma) of ours came here at lunch time to ask help about her net connection on her laptop and I managed to help her with her questions. Soon after she left my sis and I were on the computer to do some blogging (yes she's into now!) and other stuff. I will just share the link of her blog as soon as she finished tinkering with it.

BTW, so sorry for not visiting your blogs always and doing some of the tags you have for me. Promise if i have more time and when I'm back in Pinas for sure i'll be back on my old routine.

Anyway, just wishing you all Happy Valentine's Day and thanks for droppin' by. 

Never too late to be safe

These days were criminality can increase sometimes we can never really rest on our laurels. I have once experienced being robbed in my store few years back where I have done nothing to defend myself. It was very frightening and if I were to choose and I can consider having a look at those self defense products that I saw online. Some of the products that I saw were pepper sprays, stun guns, tasers, and alarms that I reckon can save lives when used for personal safety.

Yay, I finally turned 40 today and there are many things to be grateful about. I want you to celebrate this special day with me. I've received lot of blessings this year and I want to thank our dear Lord for that.

Wet, wet, wet, and gloomy day

Sigh... It was raining so hard when i woke up late this morning. I was scheduled to go to Divisoria with a family friend to run an errand for my sister and to buy some Christmas gifts but with the crazy rain i just postponed it. I am also scheduled to buy my Canon 400d in Hidalgo, Quiapo today but i have to postpone it till Monday. Gosh it just makes me more excited to buy it. I already called Macy store and asked for their price and i hope they will give me more discount if i will buy extra memory card, lens and accessories.You know it's so hard to do shopping in Divisoria when it rains bec. it will be muddy and there will floods along the way, that is yucky for sure.

The kids(nephews) still have classes today eventhough there are floods near their school. Right now, my feet are cold and later and we will eat champorado for snack. Gosh it's so nice to sleep right now but i can't do that bec. i still have customer and i need to finish my tasks.

A day at my eye doctor

Finally, I had the time to go to my eye doctor today. My eyes are hurting and I have a headache almost everyday and it gives me so much discomfort. I went to my doctor's office around 10 am but it was still closed, good enough my doctor's secretary is my "kumare" so i just asked her to put me in the list. I came back at the clinic around 10:45 and few minutes later my doctor came and I'm the 1st one that he checked up

He said i had Astigmatism that is why i have blurred vision and having headaches now. My old eyeglass is also not fitted for my vision anymore so he raised it from 100 to 125. He also advised me to adjust my computer monitor or chair so that i will not have any discomfort.

I also ordered a new pair of progressive sunglasses and by Monday i will have a new one. I am sure with my new glasses i will no longer have a headache.

I am still here

Wow it's been days that i haven't updated this blog. It's hard when you have multiple blogs you know.. hehehe I am actually busy updating my other blogs bec. i have to beat the deadline that i have for my blogging assignments. It's seldom that opps are pouring in so i need to grab them and avail of the opportunity. Although it's tiring sometimes but when I think of the good things it will bring to me then i am so inspired to get them.

Anyway, i had a boring weekend if you want to know hehe. I am not feeling well last Sunday so i opted just to stay home (actually here at my shop) and then i went to the grocery later. Just in case you are wondering where i have been, just take a peek at all the entries that i posted in my other blog. SIMPLY JEN.

What’s your skin care regimen?

Hey ladies can you share your secret skin care regimen? I admit I don’t have a flawless skin that is why I envy those who are gifted with it. I have an oily T-zone on my face that keeps me bothered. Although I have tried quite few creams available on the market but nothing seems to solve it really. I don’t want to buy those expensive creams bec. I don’t want to take a risk and end up blaming my self for buying that hahaha.

Anyway, I just have a very simple regimen; I have to make sure I will clean my face with my local astringent which I have been using for ages before I go to sleep. I don’t wash my face now with ordinary soap instead I just use facial wash or scrub. Maybe the ones that I am using right now may not be good for my skin huh? Perhaps I need to consider in trying new skin care products that is in the shops now. I been thinking to buy Olay total effects the last time I went to the mall buy geez a small bottle is already P600 and that is already expensive for my budget conscious pocket hahaha.

What a busy day!

Wow, it’s been a pretty busy day for me here at my internet café, I am really tired. It’s Holiday (National Heroes Day) today so many had the time to go online. My customers are mostly female teenagers who are so addict about Friendster website. They enjoy opening their accounts and trying to take a photo of themselves through the webcam. I don’t have many computers so there are times when my customer is on waiting for their turn. It’s good that I already bought a new HP printer yesterday in Greenhills (where else?) bec. I had some printing jobs. I was also pretty busy doing some graphics layouts for a customer who is so demanding (!) and that consumed few hours of my time. Well, it’s good enough that I am busy with my work around here. Oh aside from that, I made a business card for one of my client and I really finished it asap since it will be due tomorrow morning.

I was also able to update my other blog this morning and wrote few assignments for other company. I didn’t have a chance make a digiscrapping layout for today coz I don’t have enough time. It was only around 7: 10 pm that I am quite free to write this post. I am actually real tired right now, my back is aching, i’m getting hungry and I think I need a warm bath and pamper myself with dead sea salt, which is known to relieve stress and muscle ache. My eyes are also killing me; I have to partly blame myself for not goin to my eye doctor. I really planned to go there but when I see the line of clients in his office, I backed out coz I don’t want to waste my precious time waiting for 2-3 hours in line hahaha. I know one day I will find a time to sit there and wait for my turn, I just hope my eyes are not worst at that time.

Oh well, I have to go now, I have only few minutes more left and I will be closing my store now. Have a great evening/day wherever you are. !!!

I'm trying to get rid of Coke. Are you?

Ahhhh COKE.........Who can actually resist this thirst quenching softdrink that has been part of our lives for many many years now? I will not deny that i always love to order this drink especially when i am dining out on fast foods or even in restos. Coke here, Coke there.. it's addicting isn't it??? Some have already substituted coke as their water, which i think is very very bad. They drink it every single day and every single meal 1 liter, 2 liters yikes....too much sugar.

My 4 year old niece has been addicted to this drink as well (I know this is very bad!!! her mom can't keep it away from her). I even told my sis-in-law that she will definitely be acidic or will have problems in the future should she continue giving softdrinks to her. She said she will cry if she will not give her. Oh well this is another story.

I myself have been trying to cut my Coke intake everytime i have snack here bec. i always feel I am bloated after drinking. I'm drinking Tropicana twister instead but I'm still researching if this is a much healthier alternative. I know water is the best but you know there are times when we crave for "flavored" drinks. I hope i can continue to get rid of this but i know this will take a lot of time and discipline on my part.

What about you, can you resist drinking Coke or any softdrinks and what can you suggest (aside from water) is the best???

A day at my dentist

Finally I got time and budget yesterday morning so I sneaked out of my shoppe at 10 am and went to my dentist. It was already long overdue and i was really scheduled to go to her clinic in May and oh boy it was already July so i hurried up and run to her clinic, lol. Good thing is that i was her 1st patient so i don't have to wait in line. I got some few filling over my teeth and had my tooth cleaned.

The time i had my check-up she told me t that some parts of my gums are inflamed already so she suggested me to use PYODONTYL toothpaste that i can massage every after regular toothbrushin. I've been using it for a while now and it seems working for me and I reckon i will continue to use to make my gums more healthy. Bought it at Mercury drugstore and if i remember it right it costs about Php 175.00, which can last for about 1 1/2 months.

The drilling on my teeth was ok for while but when she is doing the undercut for the fillings to hold, there are times i have to raise my hand bec. i can feel a bit pain. It lasted for about almost 2 hours and my teeth feel refreshed. I better go see her every 6 months so it will not be painful for me when she is doing the cleaning.

I'm excited to shop

I can’t wait for Sunday to come.. why? I am going to shop ..hopefully till I drop hehehe. My money arrived the other week and as I promised myself I am goin to treat myself fr. my hard earned money. Actually I already bought a brand new tv, dvd and desk and other stuffs. I still want to enjoy what I worked for so Sunday is my time. I still need to go to my dentist, eye doctor and dermatologist hahaha, I need an overhaul? Hhahaha.

Anyway, I plan to shop for a complete wardrobe, from pants to shoes. I gained weight (oooppps actually few bilbils!!!! yikes) and I find it hard to wear my old maong pants anymore. You know what, I am really not good in buying shoes or sandals, there are times when I got home, I don’t like what I bought or it is not fitted well. I don’t think I will buy another bag this time, I am quite contented with the bag that I am using right now (it was given by my is Joy).

Greenhills Shopping Center in San Juan is one of my fave shopping place, although some prices are too high at some shops I still love to go there. I love the tiangges that lined up in Shoppeville, there are some export overruns of branded clothes like GAP, Abercrombie and more. There are also many small stalls that sell jewelleries like swarovski crystals and their famous pearls. And you know what you can buy some class A or good replica bags of known brands like GUCCI, PRADA, COACH and more. I see a lot of foreigners buy there and when they returned to US their bags would not easily be noticed as replicas.

I’m not actually a brand conscious type of shopper now (in my 20’s I am), even if it is not branded but if the style and price suits my taste then I’d go buy it. I also love bargains or with sale (who doesn’t!), I remember we should to go at Midnight sale at Robinson’s Galleria and Megamall every year before the Halloween. I’d go with my sis or by myself and go to all the shops to buy some good stuffs, it’s fun to see tags have 30- 50% off.

Nothing can beat DIVISORIA ever, if you have not been there, you are actually missing a lot – shopping wise you know!! There are hundreds of stores where you can buy all kinds of stuffs from shirts, cloths, anything you can think of. I usually got o 168 and and Divisoria mall. Your whole day is not enough to go through all the shops and see the bargains at wholesale price.!!!

My new work table

I have been planning to buy a new work desk for my pc since May and it was only just last Sunday that i was able to buy a new one at Home Works at Ever mall. Actually that was not really the table that i wanted but they have no other display and stock so i just bought it na lang. But at least now i have a much nicer table compared before.

I finally resigned

This is so sad…. I finally resigned from the Scrapping Garden Design Team. I emailed the owners that I can no longer keep up with my duties at the store and it will be unfair for other designers who are doing their job there. My kits will be put down from the store and it breaks my heart, but what can I do.

Although I didn’t earn as much from designing, I had fun selling my works in the store for quite sometime. For those you bought some of my kits/elements, I dearly thank you all and thanks for those who appreciates my work. I will continue to design if time permits, I will be scrapping also if my mojo will back again.

One day if I will have time, I will upload them and give them as freebies, so watch out for it.

"iron" Deficiency Syndrome

Gosh, my "Iron Deficiency Syndrome" strikes again last night.. Nope, it's not a disease guys, actually it's my laziness to iron my mom and my clothes..yikes!! Actually last night i was suppose to iron my clothes after dinner but after eating i watched TV on the sofa and watch "Here Comes the Bride" Tv show on Channel 11. Little did i know I was already sleeping on the couch in few minutes.

Later on, I suddenly wake up and mom asked me if i'm still going to do the ironing. I told her I am too lazy and sleepy already. After few minutes i got up and went straight to my room and sleep.

I woke up again at around 11:00 pm and turned on TV and watch the Pinoy Big Brother for a while. I immediately remembered the mountain of clothes to be ironed but i am so lazy to even get up again. How i wish our clothes were all wash and wear so i will have not a hard time telling myself to that boring task of ironing..lol

I'm feeling much better now

Oh yeah, it is really hard to have Dyspepsia or commonly known as Indigestion after eating so much. I know i will suffer right after eating a very heavy lunch on Tuesday, who can't resist eating Crispy pata, Grilled Chicken and lots more?. Oh boy it gave me a lil bit of discomfort. I felt bloated and so full eventhough i have not ate any right now. It happened to me before but now i know what kind of medicine to take. I took Motilium after lunch and dinner yesterday and this morning i had it again. I was relieved for a while and i am thankful for that.

I am still burping most of the time, but i can manage it, i feel a lil bit of tummy ache but i feel lot better now, thanks for the medicine. Weeeh that's the prize i got after being a glutton hahahaha. Takaw kasi eh ayan..

Gifts pouring in....

It's was a very exciting and fun day yesterday. My uncle and Aunt from LA arrived after 2 years for their vacation here. They arrived 5:30 am via PAL and they have tons of luggages that include gifts for all of us.

We are all excited to see them and vice versa, the kids could not wait for their gifts as my aunt opened her luggages. Shoes, cosmetics, toiletries, wrist watches, bags for the kids, cellphones, chocolates and lots more are pouring in. We are all very thankful for their gifts to all of us bec. they are always generous.

I got so excited when my Aunt handed me my new digital camera that i am waiting for. They (my aunt and uncle) gave me CANON POWERSHOT A550 and oh boy i love it. It may not be the latest model nor a SLR but the best thing is that it is a gift that i will cherish and it is compatible with Vista. I am still reading the manual so that i will know more about its features.

I will be very busy for the next couple of weeks bec. for sure we are all going out of town to have a lil vacation and fun. Gosh life is so sweet sometimes hehe . I will update ya all from time to time and i will post pictures later of course using my new digi cam.

Election Day

So have you voted today to exercise your rights as a citizen? I do. After goin to the grocery with my aunt and the rest of us in the nearby mall it was already 2:30 pm when we got to the precinct to vote. Although it was only 30 mins before poll's closing time but there were people rushing in the school to cast their votes.

We were greeted my people handing us election sample ballots and some are still encouraging us to vote for that certain candidate. We looked for our names in some of the classrooms but we weren't able to see our names so we decided to went straight to the information desk where hey can easily locate our names and precinct numbers.

After that we proceeded at our designated classrooms and we voted. It was a bit easy to vote much of a hassle, i didn't fill all the slots so i just crossed it out. I am sure the candidates were all keeping an eye on their votes as counting will be started as soon as the polling ends.
