: Kids have so much energies :

After their 1 week vacation in Ilocos and Vigan my nephews and nieces are constantly looking for ways to entertain and pre-occupy themselves. After playing outside in the yard today playing basketball, their energies are not yet over bec. they still want to play games at their PS 2 gaming device. My bro bought another game the other day and they were so excited to finally play on it.

And can you believe this? They still have time to play games on the pc, and sometimes I already scold them for doing such. Ahhhh kids... they have so much energies to do many things. Oh well, I know when summer is over and when they are back in school this June, they will not be permitted by their parents anymore to play games everyday. I reckon they are just enjoying themselves while they are at break.

Kids dayout at MOA

After a delicious lunch that we had at Dither's 10th bday celebration at MAx Restaurant on Sunday, my nieces, nephews, SIL and bro went to MOA (Mall of Asia). I am so kill-joy that afternoon bec. i don't want to go with them (too bad I'm not feeling well that time or else i will go with them).

Anyway, they went to the mall to shop and the boys went inside the Science Discovery (forgot the real name) to watch some displays. I know they enjoyed their time there bec. they told me that they want to come back there again. The photos were taken by my nephew KARLO.

I have never been to Mall of Asia since it opened and I often hear that it was so big that a whole day is not enough to stroll all the shops there. Just in case you didn't know Mall of Asia is the biggest mall here in the Phils and one of the biggest in the world!!! Yay i have to be there soon!

Our Christmas Day

Hello all, i hope you all had a great Christmas !!! We woke up early on Christmas day and went to my bro's place coz we will be havin' our lunch there and that is where all of my godchildren will go to receive their gifts from me.

It was "Manuhan" time where kids show sign of respect and later on will receive gift or money. We also visited some of our relatives. We had videoke machine but we turned busy out so we didn't have much time to sing.

Later at night we had the exchange of gifts and the kids had the blast opening their presents. YAy, only few more days and it's gonna be 2008.

Happy New year everyone!!! Me and Micah

Weekly Drawings: Me and my Crowned Prince

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

I always believe that my 4-year old niece is very good in drawings so i will post her works here weekly. She loves to draw anytime and anywhere. She is like her dad who started doodling at age 2, we still have her dad's drawings in a box.

Anyway, she showed me this one and I asked her who is in the drawing and she said that it's me and my future boyfriend heheeh. WOW !!! take a look at my bf he is wearing a crown, is he a prince hahaha !! I just love the crown and my eyelashes, isn't my lashes long hehe..??

RA is my niece's initial actually it should be AR which stands for Aidel Reign. Do you have kids, realtives who loves to draw at an early age??

Keeping your babies safe

Hello mommies out there! I know one of the main things that you provide to your babies and kids is their utmost safety. I am not a parent yet but I had the opportunity to take care of my nieces and nephews when they are still babies.

Let me share this funny story. One time I took my nephew one morning for a leisurely walk in the nearby park and he was on his stroller. We had fun coz I let him run at the big football field but it was cut off when the rain suddenly fell. I hurriedly get him and strapped him on his stroller but unfortunately it has no hood so we both got wet. If you only saw how I carried him and push his stroller to the nearest shade you’d laugh at me hahaha. I wish it was a joovy caboose stroller (like the one in the photo) bec. for sure I will not have a hard time pushing him. Have you used Joovy Caboose strollers?

Kids are always funny

Oh yeah right, this is my 4-year old niece Reign and I had the chance to snap photos of her when she was in the right mood. Don’t you think she is so kikay? She loves that small plastic bag of her, want to know what is inside? She has those colorful bracelets like that one she is wearing; she has a comb, hair pins and plastic lipsticks. I asked her to strike a pose and oh boy I was glad that she did that.

And you know what?, she always imitates me when she saw me putting a lipstick or putting a powder on my face. She also love to borrow one of my makeup mirrors and pretend that she is putting a make up or lipstick.

Kids always make us laugh with all their little antics , don't you think so? I just hope she will not wear makeup too early haha.

Take a look at DAUPHINE'S lil daughter retouching herself during trick or treating, lol, so cute!

Meet Remy!!

Hey guys, i want you to meet REMY, he is the pet Hamster of my nephew Karlo. Actually Remy was given by his friends to my nephew as a gift for his birthday. He is only about 4 months old and i never thought that this creature is nocturnal. He sleeps in the morning and very active and playing at night.

My nephew brought it home that last time he came from his dorm and instantly the kids in the house flocked on his cage to see him. Actually he doesn't stinks eventhough he has his droppings on his cage.

The kids love to see him play at the spinning wheel inside his cage and eat his food. Anyone have a pet like this?

She loves to go to school now

If you could still remember my post before about my niece Reign crying before going to school. She hates to go to her new school and to stop her from crying her mom would end up being inside her classroom too.. lol. There's even a time when they will go home early bec. she didn't like to listen and sit on her desk.

Things have changed and right now, she is always eager and excited to go to school and would always asks me "what time is it now?" bec. she knows it's school time when 2 pm strikes.

We are very happy that she changed and we saw big improvement on her. She can talk quite straight now (hindi na masyadong bulol) and can sing nursery songs, count, write her name, color and more.

Are you excited for Christmas?

I do, aside from it being festive; I cannot wait for my niece Micah Jey in Sydney to have her Christmas vacation here in the Phils. Anyway, few more months and it’s gonna be Christmas once again, so have you prepared your shopping lists already? Oh well, I have over 20 godchildren and before Christmas, I need to jot all of their names and their age and think about what gift is suited to each child.

My eldest godchild is already a teenager so I don’t think I need to give her a gift bec. for sure I don’t know her taste. I reckon I just need to give her money instead so she can buy what she wants.

The youngest male godchildren that I have is around 4 or 5 years old so I think RC airplanes or cars are perfect gift for them. I know kids that age love receiving gifts (esp. TOYS) for Christmas instead of money. I remember one time I gave money to one of my godchild and I heard him whispering to his mom where is his toy hahahaha. I knew he will look for one. Kids are funny sometimes, don’t you think so?

Crying Bunny

Hahaha. Take a look at my niece Reign, she’s having a tantrum when her mom and I asked her to wear that animal costume that my sis Joy gave to her the last time she sent a balikbayan box. It was actually a “bunny costume” and I thought it was pretty cute on her.

At first she liked to try it but when we teased her she’s a bunny with that big ears and small tail, she begun to cry and wanted to remove the costume right away hahahaha. My cam is ready to take a pic of her but she end up crying.

But last night, she wants to wear that c
ostume but I was the one who forgot to bring along my cam. I guess if we are both ready I can take a good snap of her wearing that.

Aren’t kids lucky these days?

Technology has wrapped all of us, from cellphones, ipod, computers and more. It is ever advancing. I remember when I was still a kid; plastic baby dolls (which I still keep), breakable clay pots, and paper dolls are my toys that I use to play. Hide and seek, tumbang preso, Chinese garters are some of the games we use enjoy but look at the kids now. They are very lucky to be enjoying playstation and computers as one of their means of playing.

My niece Reign just recently discovered Nick Jr. online, which she enjoyed playing sometimes. It is very child friendly where there are lots of activities that she can choose. Although we allowed her to play the computer we don’t encourage her to stay there for long time, 30 mins. is enough, so she can have the taste of how is it to play in the computer.

Kids are very curious and very adventurous, they want to explore on other things that interest them. She also loves playing with her dolls and she loves drawing very much, you can see her drawing at my older post HERE.

While kids enjoy technology, we should still encourage them to play dolls (of course for girls), hide and seek and many other fun activities. In fact, here in the Phils. kids are encouraged to play the old games we adults use to play before like the patintero, sungka, tumbang preso and many more. Let them get dirty outside!!

My niece is a born artist..

Artists runs in our family. My older brother is a visual artist while Reign's dad also paints early at the age of 2. Mom used to tell me he draws on any surface, our wall (hahaha), paper, dust on the car etc. so there's no doubt that his daughter Reign would inherit that. She started to draw when she was about 2 1/2 or 3 years old, doodling at 1st then later on making flowers, stick people and more.

Right now she is 4 years old and if she is in the mood you'll see her drawing on paper with pen, pencil or crayons. She loves drawing a girl with long hair and flowers. Mom sister Joy even gave her a magic sketcher drawing board so she will not waste too much paper. I know she will grow up a good artist

I saw her drawing early yesterday morning, so i hurriedly took my camera to take a video of her while drawing. Here's the video that i took.

Does your kid/s love to draw? >>Play the video below
