I have been meaning to digital scrap for a long time now but for some reason there's no urge or inspiration that is coming into my brain. Luckily after downloading the freebie Naturally kit by Bren Boon, i got inspired so browsed my photo archives and started to make a layout.

My co-bebots (dig-iscrappers) too gave me a boost to scrap again and I was so happy to make one layout eventhough that is so simple. I know this will be the start of my scrapping days again. Yay thanks the scrapping spell has broken.. I'm sharing this layout and hope I can scrap more.

Oh by the way, this is my 1ST TIME to scrap using PSCS3 bec. I have been scrapping at PSP8 and I have to tell yah psp8 is more user friendly.

: I Want to Scrap !:

Mojo where are you?? I really really want to digi-scrap bec. i have about over 2,000 photos from my recent trip that is waiting to be scrapped. I don't know there's no inspiration coming in my head and my scrapping mood is somewhat totally gone. I went gallery shoppin yesterday and saw beautiful layouts, i want to do something but poooop nothing is coming. I purchased 1 sale kit yesterday and I hope this will start the spark in the coming days. Keeping my fingers crossed!

: I'm hoarding digital freebies :

Since I don't have the mojo and the inspiration to make digital scrapbooking layouts yet, I am just hoarding and downloading stuff that are free to download over at designer's blogs. My latest download is this Wild Weekend kit by Miss Mint .

Hopefully if my desire to make some layouts again, I already have new stuff to use.

I also went browsing at some digi stores, there are actually lots of pretty kits available but I don't want to purchase any at this moment. I am just contented on downloading freebies. i hope i will not runout of harddrive or else i will buy an external one. yay another expenses.!

I miss digiscrapping

Yes, i really do, i just envy my co-digiscrappers bec. they have new layouts and new kits purchased. I was hoppin' around some digi sites and gosh i wanted to buy some kits but I was able to control myself from buying since I can't use it here anyway.

I hope when i get back in Pinas on April I can continue to scrap again. Right now, I am contented on looking at digi layouts and freebie kits. Ahhh i can't wait to scrap soon..

On digi scrapping and Photography

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Oh dear I just really miss digital scrapbooking lately. I remember when I was in Pinas bef. this vacation I was really hoarding some digi freebie stuff that almost ate all of my hard drive space, lol. I just miss that.. really... I know i will just make some Lo's when i get back home since i have tons of photos to make a layout.

The good thing is that i have been practicing my photography lately using my Rebel DSLR bec. i have lots of good views and subject to shoot. Guess what?? i have taken myself out of the FULL AUTO mode and have been using mostly Manual (M), Aperture Priority (AV) Mode and other modes. I think i have been improving, i got good shots (i think so) , some are creative ones and I am happy 'bout that. I'll share later when i go back home in Pinas since i like my photos to have a watermark on it (bleh).

Yahooo my mojo peeked!!

Yay, after 100 years i finally finished this digiscrapping layout few minutes ago that i actually started since November after my birthday. Mojo has been hiding since then and I've become too busy with the holidays that is why i haven't scrapped (aside from my header) for a long time..

Weeeww, finally i made one, what a relief and i am satisfied with the result. This pic is taken during my b-day on Nov. 16 last year and it was special since i turned 40, yay! Ok here it is. Credits will be posted later, ok.. (click image to view bigger)

New look, new hope for 2008 !!

Wow, we already said our goodbyes for 2007 and i can say I had a good one. Of course i had bad days but the good ones are worth remembering. Trials and struggles are normal part of life and no matter what, we have to deal with them for they will make us wiser, stronger and braver. We should not be discouraged in facing them. This new year, let there be new hope, new dreams, more blessings for all of us!! Let us embrace what God will bless and shower us and may this year we will all live a life on what we have hoped for.

I have some photos of our New Year celebration, just take a peek at them if you like coz we all had a blast.

Anyway, i purchased a kit from Jofia Designs on Dec. 31 at Digichick and i just fell in love with her HAPPY ISLAND KIT so I used it for my new header. So how do you find it?

Ok, I'm productive today

If you read my me being so lazy post for the past days, wow, it's good to be alive and kickin' again after that. I was busy the whole day today. Made some decent posts and uploaded some photos here (scroll down) and did some store works.

If you noticed, I also made a new simple Christmas theme inspired header. I never thought i can make one but i thought the last header was just so boring already. I was able to download some new freebies so i used it to make my header. I never bothered to buy a Christmas kit bec. i don;t think i will use that often anyway. Yay i just saved myself another $6.20.. that is good hehehe.

I also want to give credits to Julie O for the paper, Christmas elements by Gonda Deenen, alphas by Bren Boone and carboard by Linda GB.

I hope you all have a great weekend and gosh only 10 more days and it's Christmas already !! Advance Merry Christmas to all!!!

I got a Christmas gift already!!

We are having an exchange gift at our Phil. Digi-scrapping forum and we are given a pair to exchange gifts this Christmas. Our allowed price is bet. $15-$20 (shipping excluded) and we have posted our wish list so that our "mommy" will have an idea what we want.

And since I'll be traveling out of the country next year and I will be bringing some of my files, I just thought of asking a 2GB flash drive or a Canon Rebel wireless remote control for my digicam. I was so happy the other when a delivery man entered my store and handed me a pack. I read the package and saw it came from my co-Bebot ABBIE and was glad to know that she is my "mommy".

I opened the package and here is what i got, a very useful 2GB flash drive and this cute Christmas card w/ beautiful message inside. Thank you mommy ABBIE !!! Love the gift.. muahhh

BTW, to my "baby", my gift is on the way, hope you'll get it before Christmas.

I miss digiscrapping

Wow it's been a while since i made a layout and i really do miss digi-scrapping. I've been quite busy so i have no time to make a layout. Actually i started one last November after my b-day but i haven't finish it yet. Although I'm not scrapping, I am still downloading freebie stuffs online, hahaha i'm still hoarding freebies.

I hope after the holidays i can scrap again that is if my mojo will be there. Some of my co-Bebots still have the time to layout one or two and i envy them. The good thing is that i can also control myself in buying digi kits.

A little treat for myself

I promised myself not to shop online again for it will become addicting but who can resist these awesome goodies from great designers. Actually i'm not a crazy shopper yet, i still can control the "check-out" button (kuripot ako eh!!!) Anyway, i love the Skinny Mini Ribbons by Christina Renee so i bought it. It was at $3.99. I already bought a kit, big ribbons from her shoppe and i was satisfied with her products, in return she sent me a nice Ribboned Buttons fro FREE as a token. You will see it in my future layouts.

I went to Joyce's blog last night and i read that Catscrap was on sale so i hurriedly go over there to buy the Alpha that Birgit is selling. I was eyeing this alpha for long time now, i did not buy it bec. for me $4.00 for an alpha is already expensive lol. It was on sale for $2.40 so i grabbed it. I still have one alpha on the cart and i'll still think if i will buy it too. The SALE will be till Aug. 26, so digiscrappers buy now.

Actually, i don't really spend much on digi-stuff bec. there are still lots of nice FREEBIE around. I only buy what i don't find in freebies hehehe (sadyang kuripot haha)

Are you into digi scrapping ??

I am so glad that finally my mojo is back, which is great because I'm back to scrapping. There come a time when i don't feel like making a layout but lately i found myself downloading freebies stuffs from various blogs and just recently bought some ribbons. Scrapping is my way to destress from work, just like any hobby digital scrapbooking is addictive.

I had fun browsing through galleries to see other's designs and layouts. That is where i got my inspiration and idea. I hope i can scrap more as i still have lots of pictures to scrap.

If you have not tried digi scrapping, i suggest you to try it and for sure you'll get to it. Digi Scrapping just like paper s. is a way to preserve the memories. Layouts can be printed and will look like it has been paper scrapped esp. if it is 300 dpi.

For those Pinays who is into this you can join our forum Philippine Digiscrappers Forum, it is where we share our layouts, tips and tutorials. Not only that we also share anything under the sun. We have a fun and great digiscrappers. Come join us !!

Note: Credits for this layout can be seen at my digiblog

I got these ribbons

I was browsing various online digi galleries yesterday and I was so amazed with the elements they are using particularly the tied ribbon wrappers. Love it so much that I look for the designer. I found out that it was made and sold my Christina Renee and so I immediately googled and search where she is selling those lovely ribbons. The search led me to her own website and in no time I was glued to her site and could not resist in buying these ribbons.

What more exciting is that it was on sale which is less 30% off. I got the ribbon for only $2.09 and I am very very happy.
This is my VERY FIRST purchase hahaha…. I love her ribbons and I hope I can buy also some of her grungy papers.. ahhhhh Im actually controlling myself. I also wanted to buy some elements from Amy Martin, Gina Miller or Michelle Coleman. Just love these great designers. I am actually keen on scrapping lately and with my new purchase I know I will be more inspired… I will some layouts using this gorgeous ribbons soon. Love these ribbons!!!!!! I hope i will not be addicted to online shopping.. ngek

I have downloaded freebies and now what??

Now that i have a new pc with a big hard disc space and a broadband connection (finally!!) I now enjoyed downloading digital scrapbooking FReebies at some of designer's blogs. Gosh, they are tons and actually big files from 10 MB to 40MB of kits or elements.

I started downloading since yesterday and oh boy i can't really count how many gigs i have downloaded. I'm unstoppable !!!! We at the Phil. Digiscrappers Forum always love freebies and our Freebie Queen Cherry Rose is generous enough to give us some links to the blogs that has freebies.

My problem now is how to organize them fast and how can i use all of them? hahaha.

My logo design printed on merchandise!!!

Teeeeheeee, i was browsing the net yesterday and i thought i'd visit the The Scrapping Garden store where I once sell my digital scrapbooking kit designs. I just resigned from the store just last week bec. i am too busy to include designing in my schedule.

Anyway, the Cafe Press is already open where you can buy stuffs life Shirts, Coffee Mugs, Tote/Scrapping Bags, Clocks and many others. I was really surprised to see my winning design (LOGO) already printed on their merchandise and i am so happy and delighted. It was the end of last year i think where we had a design making contest at the store and i won and the paid me for using the logo on their merchandise.

This is the design that i made using my "SWEET BIANCA" kit, isn't it cute?? (hehe)

Here are some of the stuffs where you can see the LOGO that i made, so everytime you see this design i am the one who made it hehe.. You can buy these stuffs at the Scrapping Garden Cafe Press.

I finally resigned

This is so sad…. I finally resigned from the Scrapping Garden Design Team. I emailed the owners that I can no longer keep up with my duties at the store and it will be unfair for other designers who are doing their job there. My kits will be put down from the store and it breaks my heart, but what can I do.

Although I didn’t earn as much from designing, I had fun selling my works in the store for quite sometime. For those you bought some of my kits/elements, I dearly thank you all and thanks for those who appreciates my work. I will continue to design if time permits, I will be scrapping also if my mojo will back again.

One day if I will have time, I will upload them and give them as freebies, so watch out for it.

To stay or to step down?????

That is the question that is in my head up to this time. For those that didn't know yet, I am a digital scrapbooking designer at the Scrapping Garden since Aug. of last year and have been selling my kits there since. And as a designer there are other duties that i need to do aside from just having my kits for sale there.

The thing is, I got an e-mail this morning from one of the TSG owner, and she is asking me if i am still interested in selling my kits at their store. Oh my i am sooo guilty, to be honest i have not been participating in the store's activities, mega kit's submission, posting and commenting on galleries. The reason is i became too busy with blogging, paid blogging, life around here and work that is why i have not been fulfilling my duties...

I know it is not fair for other designers there and members who are active in the site. I still have to think this over before i will email her back. Am i stepping down??? I don't know yet. I love designing so much but life can be tooo busy at times and i need to prioritize something...You can see my works here.

Gosh, this is hard.. Can you give me your thoughts on this??? Thanks.
