: A Career in Beauty:

My mom used to have a small beauty salon when she was still young and having been to one of the graduates of a beauty school in Manila she immediately got a lot of customers. Many have testified that there is not much capital you need to shell out to put up a salon so I reckon it is a good business to put up esp. if you have a know how about cosmetology or hair styling. Any one can pursue a career in beauty bec. there are many cosmetology colleges across the US that Regency Beauty has. With experienced trainers and high quality services that they offer to students there’s no wonder that they bring cosmetology to a whole new level.

: I'm not getting any younger anymore :

Gosh, it maybe hard to admit but that is the case right now.I am at the age where people always say that “my life will begin”… oh no way I can believe that haha bec. at my age this is the start of aches and pains. lol Seriously, my energy has slowly going down, I can tell that bec. I before I can shop or just stroll the mall the whole day but these days 2-3 hours are already enough for me. I also experience an uncomfortable pain on my left leg and my varicose veins are now unsightly to see. Oh well.....

And take a look at the photo, I already have wrinkles beside my eyes, a sure sign of ageing but I don’t worry much about that and would not think of using anti wrinkle cream at this moment. My laugh lines are also visible now but I hope I will age gracefully. But with all that flaws, I still feel beautiful !

I love birthdays bec. it's my 40th b-day yesterday and i love celebrating it with 2 of my best friends way back in high school RACE and HELEN.

Last night we went out to dinner at Don Henricos in Sta. Lucia mall and we had a blast. We first strolled the mall and when my feet hurts that's the time we decided to eat lol. Actually we had a hard time where to dine because i was looking for a steak house, we never found one so we ended up eating at Don Henricos. We had an endless chit-chats talking about our highschool life, lovelife and more, the evening is not enough for us.

I love spending time with them bec. i feel loved and comfortable. Love ya guys!! Thanks for making my b-day special!!

A day to pamper myself

Hello everyone!! Hope you are all having a great week. It's another busy day for me here. As you can see at the photo i was in a salon (yes i took a photo of myself hahaha , addict ba?)

This morning, I went to Index Salon to have my hair dyed and for a hair spa. Actually if I don't have gray hairs i will not dye my hair but since i have lots of them near my forehead i have no choice but to have them dyed every 3 or 4 months or else i will look a grandma with lots of white hairs.

I just had it colored dark brown like the last color that i had. The hair cutter asked me if i want a reddish one but i said no bec. i might look different with that. After the color, is the hair spa, i love the cool feeling on my head and the lil massage. It took me about 3 hours in the salon and i was happy with the result.

What’s your skin care regimen?

Hey ladies can you share your secret skin care regimen? I admit I don’t have a flawless skin that is why I envy those who are gifted with it. I have an oily T-zone on my face that keeps me bothered. Although I have tried quite few creams available on the market but nothing seems to solve it really. I don’t want to buy those expensive creams bec. I don’t want to take a risk and end up blaming my self for buying that hahaha.

Anyway, I just have a very simple regimen; I have to make sure I will clean my face with my local astringent which I have been using for ages before I go to sleep. I don’t wash my face now with ordinary soap instead I just use facial wash or scrub. Maybe the ones that I am using right now may not be good for my skin huh? Perhaps I need to consider in trying new skin care products that is in the shops now. I been thinking to buy Olay total effects the last time I went to the mall buy geez a small bottle is already P600 and that is already expensive for my budget conscious pocket hahaha.
